Allow me to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Señora Craft and I will be teaching grades 7 & 8 Spanish this year. I live in Hanover with my husband (also a teacher) and my four children (whom many of you may know), our 2 dogs and 12 chickens. I teach Zumba classes and I enjoy being artsy and traveling to Spain to visit friends. You may be wondering what my class will be like, so let me tell you how I do things. First, I speak as much as possible is Spanish. The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages suggests that 90% of the time you are in class Spanish ought to be spoken. I will do my absolute best to adhere to that guideline. Second, I am filled with energía, therefore we will be a very animated class! We will sing, dance, play games and put on skits to have the best learning experience possible. Finally, I am very passionate about what I teach and will not rest until I instill some of that passion into each and every student I teach. That means, I will not allow you to become frustrated. I will not allow you to give up or say "I can't." I will offer students as much help as needed to feel and be successful....all they must do is ask. I hope this gives you somewhat of an idea of what this year will look like. I can't wait to get started! Sinceramente, Sra. Craft
